Blue is for Nightmares

By: Laurie Faria Stolarz

Boarding school junior Stacey Brown has nightmares too real to ignore. Determined to discover who is out to kill Drea, her roommate, Stacey performs a series of spells taught to her by her grandmother to seek out the murderer. Although the main character does practice spells and such, taken lightly, this spellbinding debut novel will attract mystery-lovers immediately. I enjoyed this book immensely, only to find that it was the first of a four volume series! The next three books in the series are as follows: White is for Magic, Silver is for Secrets, and Red is for Remembrance. After reading the entire series (which just got better and better!) I definitely would recommend this book to young adult readers who enjoy a good mystery.
